Kamata Station is HIGHLY underrated for anyone seeking a good night out. I live in Kamata, and have loved every moment of it. It's much more gritty and real than a lot of Tokyo—a lot of people compare it to Osaka in that way. There's also plenty of awesome restaurants, izakaya, and bars surrounding the station.
